Meet Lauren

Lauren serves as the State Central Committeewoman for the 10th Congressional District, helping to bring in new party leadership to modernize the Democratic Party of Illinois. As founder of the Tenth Congressional District Democrats and chair of the Lake County Democrats, Lauren has helped build a strong infrastructure for Democrats in Lake County and the entire 10th District. Prior to her service organizing and electing Democrats in the 10th District, Lauren served four terms in the Illinois House of Representatives. Lauren believes that politics should be about more than just elections—it should be about working together to build a better world.
